Test Parameters : Nominal 10% ballistic gelatin block. No barriers present. (17.5x5x5)” gelatin block


Block calibration velocity : 585 ft/sec

Block calibration penetration : 3.3 inch

Block calibration temperature : 37.9 degrees Fahrenheit

Block core temperature : 38.8 degrees Fahrenheit


Bullet impact velocity : 1222 ft/sec

Deepest penetration depth : 6.0 inch

Maximum crack diameter : 1.9 inch

Maximum crack diameter location : 1.3 inch

Cavitation depth : 0-5.4 inch



Weapon : Kel-Tec P3AT with 2.75" barrel length

Distance from weapon muzzle to impact face of gelatin block : 10.0 feet

Test site conditions : 69 degrees Fahrenheit, 45% relative humidity

Time out of refrigeration prior to shot impact : 4 minutes


Combined recovered weight of jacket and projectiles : 69.2gr

Jacket recovered average diameter : 0.479”
