We shot a used PASGT vest (bought for $10 at a gun show) to determine the NIJ threat level.
Many tests similar to this have been done in the past, but none in the public domain have been done with slow motion video to capture the Behind Armor Deformation. 20% gelatin was used as the backing material and a correction factor applied to equivalency with the standard Roma Plastilina clay backing material.
