Bar-Sto Semi drop in barrel: Opinions Please

I am contemplating upgrading my Sig P229 with a Bar-Sto Semi-Drop-In Barrel Sig Sauer P229 9mm Luger 1 in 16" Twist 3.8" Stainless Steel.

Looking forward to opinions, pro or con, from members with hands on experience with Bar-Sto barrels.

There are a lot of people making top quality barrels these days, but back in the 70's if you wanted the best barrel possible you bought a Bar-Sto.

I'd think they haven't lowered their standards since then.

I think Sig barrels are very good and I am not a good enough shot to tell a difference.

I have,a drop in barrel from Bar Sto in my 92fs and I can tell you one thing when they say match grade chamber their not kidding. I can take any round fired from that barrel be it factory or handload and the fired empty will slide into the chamber like it was never fired.
