Barack O'Bama = Scary!

His whole name is Barak Hussein Obama. NO ONE will elect a Hussein as US President. Also the press omits his undergraduate studdies were at a small college in Los Angelse, actually Pasadena, He transfered to Columbia and just recieved his degree from there.

Can't you just imagine the son of a muslim named Barak Hussein Obama As President? It'll NEVER happen, Oh yea. He's also African American.

Not to mention:

I like how CNN added "assault weapons". He voted to ban ALL semi's not just the scary looking ones.

I don't like Obama and i don't want him elected but I really hope the average IQ of this country is high enough so that a middle name won't matter.
 
He also opposed letting people use a self-defense argument if charged with violating local handgun bans by using weapons in their homes. The bill was a reaction to a Chicago-area man who, after shooting an intruder, was charged with a handgun violation.

I signed up for an account on his new campaign website and plan to use my free blog there to promote RKBA issues until they shut me down. It just seemed like too much fun to pass up.
 
He's the darling of the press right now. They've all but decided he's Abe come back to life. But trust me it is *NOT* good for any candidate to get that level of positive coverage this early. HC knows this, and is all to glad to see him peak early. The reaction will come. It could be in response to a gaff or stupid statement, or it could simply be because everyone is so sick of seeing him on TV. Then his foes, primarily among the Dems, will make sure he gets cut back down to size. I don't know the man well--not many do. But I know Hillary. There is no way old iron britches going to let some freshman senator with almost no political experience and limited backing oust her without a hell of a fight.

Don't worry about this guy. Worry about the GOP and make sure they don't nominate some RINO gun grabber like the mobster from NYC.
 
I am disheartened to see my fellow THRs concerned over his middle name. Or that his father was Muslim. Do these things matter?

I am more concerned that his race is an issue for some people in this country (not necessarily THRs). I thought we moved past that and it was settled.

Moving on, I like him because he is charismatic and very well spoken. HE is also soft spoken as well. However I disagree with his views on most things. In the end though, I will give him a lot of credit. He is honest about his beliefs and is not paying lip service anyone to garnish votes. Not many candidates can say that. If he runs for POTUS I will assuredly vote against him.
 
This is about the third or fourth thread about Obama. We know his stance on firearms--and a lot of other left-wing nonsense.

To play games or make up weird stuff because of somebody's name is not High Road. Don't.

So let's wait until the actual campaign stuff begins before disecting the various horrible folks running for office. None of them are new to any of us.
