Bare Asset High Noon Holster?

Anyone got a Bare Noon holster? How has it worked out for you? Any concerns or complaints?

Would you recommend it? For the price it seems like a great deal. Im not looking for anything fancy.

Just a IWB holster that can get the job done ( god forbid ). The only real dilemma I'm having is, Should I go with the clip type holster or the one with the straps?

I dress casual most of the time. The gun is the PT145 Pro. ( Don't worry, I plan on getting the mags fixed! )

Your thoughts?

The "Bare Asset" is only available with a clip. It is a soft leather holster. It is very different than the other models available with straps.

I don't own one, though I do have a High Noon "Slide Guard" that is an excellent holster.

The two down sides I see with the "Bare Asset" is there is no sweat shield, which may be handy in an IWB holster, and since it is soft, it will collapse when you draw the pistol making reholstering difficult. There are other models in the High Noon line-up that will address those two issues.

The advantages to the "Bare Asset" is the low cost, ready availability, light weight, and easy on/off (with a sturdy clip). It also gives you an opportunity to try IWB carry for a very low cost before laying out bigger cash for one of their more expensive models.

I think they are a good idea. High Noon has good customer service and a generous return policy.

As for the straps vs clip thing, I had meant which one would be better for IWB as to hold position and such. Sorry for being so general about it. I know that the Bare Asset only has the clip to it.

I would like to have a sweat shield on it. Im not into putting rust onto my guns. No matter how much or how little I spent on them to begin with. Holstering with one hand also seems like a good idea.....

I guess I'm answering my own questions with a little help!

Lined "Slide Guard" lists for $119.95. I got it as a gift. A great deal. I would be just as happy with it if I had paid for it. It is a very solid holster.

I would prefer the straps, but the High Noon clip has an excellent reputation as one of the strongest ones out there. I do see an advantage to getting the "Bare Asset" as an "occasional" holster, and to use while you wait on another model.

Thats a nice holster. I don't mind spending money on a good holster but that's a bit out of my spending area...

For the money spent they are a good value I have 3,as posted above Mine were purchased for the long wait of other holsters.
They do calapse some on the draw but you can reholster with one hand just not fast.they are my wifes favorite holsters and my favorite temp holster.
At the price point and the fact I can get them in about 3 days whats not to like.

I have a bare asset for a baby glock. It will also fit the larger 9mm and 40 glocks as well. I recommend it. It's a very comfortable that won't break the bank. The clip is VERY sturdy. This holster does NOT have a reinforced mouth for one-handed reholstering. This is not important to me, as I'd rather it be as thin as possible anyway. I plan on picking up a Mr. Softy as well.

Agreed. I obtain one for a new gun until I am first certain I will keep it, then have a custom job made. They actually hold and carry the gun quite well, once you get the gun into it.

need some help,i just bought the judge public defender,wasent going at first because the shot shells dident do it for me,but new winchester shot shells are great,so heres my problem,cant fine a cc holster,anyware,if i knew that i wouldent have gotten it,need some help guys,like it to be for inside sants and i am right handed,its a 2.5 inch ,thanks for any help in advance

I have a bare assest. I think it works well for the intended purpose. It allows me to conceal a full size p226, and I'm not a big guy. Good tension, I don't even have it tightened all the way, and you can hold it upside down and give it a little shake. Reholstering is not a joy, but possible.

I also have a Bare Asset for my full size PX4 Storm. Price and availability for my gun was the reason I purchased, since then I have found more comfortable holsters.

It is a good holster and the price is right, with the right gun I wouldn't doubt it would make a good EDC holster.
