I recently purchased some Barnes TSX bullets for my .270 and have a load shooting just under an inch at 100 yds. Which I am pleased with, but wondered if anyone else had a pet load for this round. Thanks

That's a good shooting load. I went through a couple of (expensive) boxes before I got one shooting that well. I got the best load with a near max load of RL22 about .050 off the lands.

I have had the best luck with the 270 130 grain bullets using slightly under max loads of Reloader 22. The 130 Sierra FB seems to be the most accurate 130 grain bullet I've tried in the 270.

I have had very good luck using IMR 4350- at 53.5 grains. About a 3/4 inch group at 100 yards and 3-4 inches at 300 yards. Chrony said just a tad over 3100 fps.

awesome. yeah the load i worked up was with RL19. I'll have to try the RL22. My load for Hornday 140 interlocks is IMR 4350 but it was all over the place with the Barnes!
