Barrel of 629 not parallel with frame

Has anyone encountered 629 S&W with barrels that slightly point to the right. The ones I have seen have all been this model but I have no record of the serial range. The one I owned I think was made in the late 70's I think what might be considered the dark days of S&W. Since that one I have looked closely at these when I see them and have found a few others all have been for sale duh. They actually look like the bore and threading in the frame is incorrect and all have been to the right.

They were very dark days and every part had to be checked .Many a S&W in those days wouldn't even work !! Of they many I fixed I don't remember that problem off hand .Not much you can do about it if you can't compensate with the sight.
