Hi Greysmoke, someone undoubtedly will be along that has that information. Lots of longarm shooters here, although I'm not member of that club yet. :D

Thanks badpenny,
Here's my problem, the TC Hawken will stablize a 230gRN, 45acp bullet and the 250SWC 45Longcolt bullet.
Those bullets in the TC Seneca will tumble at 15yds. Why??

You can check the twist rate yourself using a marked and tightly patched cleaning rod. The differences in rate for ML's is enormous so your measurement doesn't have to be exact.

My guess is your Hawken has one of the modern fast twists of 1:28 or so while your Seneca has the more standard 1:48 or even a slower roundball twist

thanks Cosmoline, I checked and they are the same like Badpenny said.
You guys have helped me alot THANKS!!

Still, that's interesting that the Hawken will stabilize the lighter bullets, and the Seneca emulates a slingshot with the same round. I assume the Seneca performs well on heavier bullets, or you would have long ago removed it from you inventory?
