I was in the Myrtle Beach, SC, Bass Pro Shop yesterday. A Browning silver/chrome Hi-Power was $679.88. A Charles Daly Hi-Power was $349.88. They had the Taurus 1911 for $569.88. Note that the cents were .88 and not .99.
Of the three I have a CD Hi-Power. I can't imagine that the Browning is worth $330 more than the CD? Worth it or not, I left lusting after the Browning. It was gorgeous!
