I found something interesting when I was looking for some Winchester 231 on the Bass Pro web site.

It's obvious the city of Jacksonville has passed some sort of restriction on powder. That's terrible.

Black powder substitute = Synthetic ?

Pyrodex is the most common "black powder substitute." It is really the only synthetic black powder "performance" substitute in common use.

This is from the Bass Pro web site-> The sale of primers, powders, and pyrodex is prohibited to the states of Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, New York City, & Jacksonville, FL. First time I have seen this under the Important Notice for gun powder.
