We are hosting a battle rattle this weekend at Rainier’s range in Blue Rock Ohio along with a three gun match. I guarantee you have never seen a battle rattle that has steel plates that are reset faster than you can shoot them. Cost is twenty for the three gun with a five dollar reshoot and twenty for the battle rattle for your fist gun and five for each new gun after that. Bring lots of ammo if you remember are air resting race courses then you will know how fast rifle plates are. The course will be from 50 yards to 125 yards with multiple plates through out the course. There will be one shooter at a time with the shooter having to move to three different positions to engage all of the steel targets. There will be at least 25 targets present. They will be intermixed with no shoot targets and will be from 3†circles to 8†by12†plates. You may go threw the course as often as you would like but your first run for each type of gun you enter will be you time for that gun. Hope to see you all there and if you have any questions please go to Rainer’s web site or bulletcamp.com or email me and I will try to answer anything I can

Guys just let me say this will be a must shoot event. I'm a regular of the 3 gun matches put on at Rayners and they are GREAT!! It is best to bring a real rifle to these 3 gun matches, a pistol caliber carbine won't make the cut if they use the back side of the range. Two to three hundred yard shots can be called for here! They have lots of large bays to shoot in and some awesome props including the front half of a diesel truck and old farm buildings to shoot in and around. Add in the reactive targets from BulletCamp.com and you'll have a full day of exciting shooting. Hope to see some new faces on the line.

This will be a well run fun shoot. Don't stay home because you miss every once in a while or don't have the "in" gear. A centerfire pistol (38/9mm min) will work fine, a shotgun (20ga min) that holds at least 4 shells in the mag will work OK and a rifle (30 carbine and over) will be great. A holster that covers the trigger guard and the mags or speedloader for about 24rds will be needed. A pouch to hold shotgun shells and a pants pocket big enough for an extra rifle mag will work.

The only thing that will not be worked around or over looked is a safety issue. You must be safe in your gun handling. They have great ROs don't be shy to ask about anything that isn't 100% clear.

Just a quick note. This is one of the best places to shoot in the state. Lots of room, good stages and props and a fantastic staff. Weather for Sunday looks great, hope to see some new faces on the line.
