I have some Bayou 124g TCG coated bullets that I have never used before. I'm trying t develop a load for it but in trying to do the plunk test, I have to get it down to about 1.080 to plunk in my Glock barrel and it still won't drop fully into my case gauge. It will fully case gauge if I get it to about 1.170-75. (Meant 1.070-75 Thanks Jim)
Does this seem like its too short? I'm using Titegroup at about 3.2 to 3.4 grains so I'm not loading hot.
Any experience with these or similar bullets is appreciated.

How long is that bullet? I load the PD 124 JHP which is 0.580" long from tip to tail to 1.085" and 1.080" OALs in 9mm to fit in my CZ.

I think you'll be fine at 1.075" with that light charge of TG regardless, but if the bullet measures shorter than mine, I'd feel safe launching a few over the chrono. I've loaded up to 4.1 gr TG with 124 gr jacketed bullets at short OALs without issue.

1.170" is longer than SAAMI.
Mixer assumes you meant 1.070".
I think you will be ok either there or 1.08".
I load the similar BBI conical to 1.14" which plunks in my SA, but has to go clear down to 1.08 to gauge.

My mistake. I did mean 1.070-75 Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
I normally load my 124 plated HP to around 1.120 out to 1.135 and they function fine.
I don't recall the length of the bullet and they're down in the shop. I did talk to Donnie and he said he loads his almost to the very edge of the shoulder and that's about 1.080. It's not deep enough to compress the powder.
