Beat the high cost of cast bullets

No website for him or email, but if the prices he quoted are correct (esp for the 45 slugs), he will be absolutely overwhelmed. It almost seems as though he misprinted, and meant to say per 500, i.e. ".45 200gr SWC .452" 1000rd $38.00". That my friends nowadays is cheap!
 
I"d be surpised if thos prices are still good,or will be for long.But if so,GREAT.!
I say that because of the way lead prices have skyrockted lately.

I ordered 2000 9mm/125gr ($68.95 del) in Dec. When I was getting ready to mail the check, I included a note and a $1 bill, asking for A sample of (4) of his 45 caliber offerings. The package arrived quickly, very well packed (ie no loose lead spread from LA to WA), no hold time on the personal check, and 100 ea of the samples I was looking at. I even got a Christmas card from him. Have yet to load any, but they mic'd and weighed out fine.
I will try the 45/200 swc next.
 
Hate to say it, but...wow. Those are great prices. Has anyone ordered any to see if those prices are still good? I have lots of friends who don't cast their own, and I will definitely pass this on.
 
Too bad you can't order online but I know how expensive a secure server is and that would only add to the price of the bullets.

Has anyone shot the .38 158gr SWC bullets yet?
I wish he has DEWC bullets for the .38 Special.
 
How are you folks ordering? Just sending snail-mail with order description and check without first calling? I need to get on the ball.

Bump! Would love to hear reports on how these are working for people. Anyone order any .40 or .38? Great prices indeed, although as a bit younger buck than most folks, I do appreciate the convenience of not having to use the checkbook... which is somewhere unknown... hidden by my wife.

Not so. For my boat plans web site, I pay $5/month for hosting the web site and use Google Checkout buttons for free (for awhile longer ...then very cheap after that.) With 3rd-party card processing, there's no need for expensive merchant accounts anymore. From the business perspective it's good since you don't have any information that could be abused (no CC info), and from the customer perspective your critical information is held by a large blue-chip corporation ...not a small business owner somewhere. Works for me.

Thanks for the information. Now if someone would pass it along to a few of the online bullet vendors it would make all of our lives a little easier!! LOL
 
I like the looks of some of the heavier bullets and like the fact he makes them in multiple sizes (which I HOPE are accurate!) but nobody has addressed an issue just as important - brinell hardness. What is the hardness of all these slugs and can he customize that, i.e. if I want 12-14BH or 20-22BH?

Can anyone answer that before I go dumping money into bullets I can't use?
 
Call and ask him. He lists his boolits in the Marlin Owners ad as "Average bullet hardness BHN-15"

Reading his other posts, he is a computer noob and is having a MO member help him set up just his MO account. I doubt he will want to venture into online ordering ATM.

Thanks Justin... I just smooth read right over that part! I buhleeve I am going to get me some test packs... at 15BNH that is just about right for softer or target loads and should actually expand a 'little' on game. :D
 
Just sent a check 2 days ago for 1500 200gr semi wadcutters in .45. His price was still the same as the post on the forum. Seems like a good guy when I spoke to him. I will let you know how long it took to get the bullets.
