Nothing makes you a better revolver shot than a larger target. My Grandson built me a new target frame and we hung a 8x8 steel swing plate on it. I'd used a 6x6 for years. I can now see that the misses I was getting were going high and left so I've work to do on my grip and trigger squeeze.
I've been playing with a 358477 150 grain bullet that I cast over 4 grains Bullseye out of my S&W 686. Even tried one at 50 yards and hit the plate on the first shot, no there wasn't a second shot fired, why loose the feeling of success. Going on 80, it doesn't take much to entertain me.

My handgun misses are almost always high and left too. Too much finger on the trigger and too little focus on the squeeze I think. It seems worse with Glocks.

Our local range uses rubber mats to hang targets. That is tough to staple, and missing paper means no indication of where shots are going. I recycle most cardboard, but keep a few panels for range use. A 30"x 30" or better panel is mounted up with drywall screws and targets stapled to the cardboard. The whole shebang is unscrewed, put in the truck and taken back home where it can be analyzed and recycled.
