it really baffles me that everyone complains about HK due to their policy on the fact they believe their firearms belong in military and law enforcement hands... (i personally do not agree with the HK policy)

then everyone says omg they are so expensive and are horrible to deal with..

yet... most of you would go and purchase ammunition from walmart...

because when something is cheaper apparently it doesnt matter what company policy is or how horrible they are to deal with...

how come no one complains about how walmart is one of the largest anti-gun companys in the country?

(it did not start out being anti gun Sam Walton is probably rolling over in his grave seeing what his beautiful company has become)

either way here is for the people who say walmart is not anti-gun

i can keep going on and on and on...

just curious about how many people realize how anti gun wally world is...

There's no shortage of Walmart Hate on this board...it's well represented.

Many of us, however, are tired of the endless complaining about Wallyworld.

I will shop at the place that gives me the best value. That is Wal Mart.

A fool & his money are soon parted.

i think the argument to be had is "best value"

what your really trying to say is that i want the cheapest product! it doesnt matter who provides it... or the quality of said product..

I agree, I have a ton of hippy friends who turn up their noses (and the condescension) at Wal-Mart but I'm not paying quadruple the price for a t-shirt or some Christmas lights so they can feel better...

its your right to shop wherever you want...

just be aware that if everyone thought the way you did the only stores left would be Wal-Mart and other stores like it... no service just cheap prices for cheap products..

Who said that walmart wasn't anti gun?

Here's people's list of priorities (in order):

1. price
2. support for the second amendment.

HK violates both of those (e.g. $2000 for a 10 round sl-8 and their refusal to use their U.S. factory to make the semi UMPs/G36s/MP5s we want-even though we would pay for them). This isn't complicated.

really its not?

i guess your name isnt really kimber45acp its hipoint right?

after all you said price is your number 1 priority....

To be fair, Kimber45 didn't say his no. 1 priority was price. He said "people's no.1 priority is price". Not necessarily his.

fair point but i would believe that it is also his belief based on the rest of his post.

either way if he really wanted a g36 he could modify an sl8 to achieve his goal.. i did, i also have a converted usc, and a hk94...

Amen. And if HK's products were truly unparalleled you might have more Americans willing to put up with them, but the fact of the matter is you can get a plethora of different firearms to do the same job and do it well. So are you gonna drop $2000 on that SL-8 then drop lord knows how much more into it to modify it back into an assault rifle or are you gonna go out and spend ~$1000 on an AR that is what you want out of box, fires the same round, and is at least as accurate? Doesn't seem like a very hard choice to me.

Thats making a BIG assumption, and one, when applied to me, isn't remotely accurate. I don't buy "garbage" from Walmart because I can get it more cheaply than I can get quality goods at another location. However, I think its simply stupid to pay 2x Walmart's price form WWB ammo from a "local" store in the name of "spending my money right". When Walmart offers identical goods at a fraction of the price of their competition, its damn hard to argue I'm getting a "better value" by shopping elsewhere. I think you need to can the preconcieved notions and quit pretending you know exactly why each and every person shops at Walamrt. I do so simply because Walmart offers me the most value for my dollar for many things, including ammo and some firearms. I refuse to pay inflated prices when I can get identical products at Walmart for less money.

Even if it weren't for the ridiculously high prices or the fact that they won't sell you a black neutered version of their guns(only gray), I'd still hate H&K for the legions of raving fan boys that they cultivate. The only H&K that I would like to own is the P7 and as far as I can see, that has been a fluke in the company's otherwise zany and lackluster collection of weapons offered for civilian consumption.

I for one dont buy any sporting goods products from Wal-Mart anymore after my last insane ammo purchase from them. I pretty much just order 100% of the stuff i need online these days.
