Anyone aware of a source for mags. Pictures of BDM mags appear identical but all I find are 10 rd.

Any help out there?

Mag hope?

I found an old review that stated BDM mags indeed were the same. There are a plentiful supply of 10 rd. mags on the auction sites for around $20. I've bid on one to check it out. I also despise turning a 14+1 into a 10+1, but if that is the best I can do...............

Once I confirm that the BDM mag is okay I'll check everywhere for some hi caps.

hso,
Thanks a bunch. I am committed to a 10 rounder from an auction site. As soon as I can confirm the interchangability I'll be knocking on their door.

FYI

Browning BDM 10 rd magazines can be successfully fitted with some file work.

They are not an exact match.:cuss:

Thanks Dr. Rob

A few more rounds through my altered 10 rd. Browning, to be sure and I'll be looking for a couple of hi-cap BDM's. Unless of course I can find OEM specimins.

I am not entirely certain of the model. I know it was made in DA/SA and DAO only, is generally referred to as a DA Hi Power, although it is not a true Hi Power. And, I suppose because Browning had the BDM was not marketed in the U.S.

There are a half dozen still on the major auction site. I'm impressed so far.
