i agree with dave...don't believe everything you read about 870's...
i have owned 4 870's in my life and i have had shell latch problems with 2 of them...
chances are, you won't run into the same problem as me, but they might not be as reliable as some would llike you to believe...
i've owned one marine magnum, one police magnum and two express models...the police magnum and one of the expresses were the two that had problems...my marine magnum has been flawless and so has one of the expresses...
the only shotguns that have been 100% for me has been a winchester 1300 defender and a
TTN hammer double...
the ttn is now my HD gun...
