I wish rather than making that ugly little monster Benelli would simply release a new Super Nova with a more normal looking forend and trigger guard.

Surprisingly the MSRPs on the Vinci are very doable. If I got one in my hands Im sure it would still be feel like a 400 dollar gun but that is no different than all their others. I am surprised though that it is under the SBE.

I like it. The trigger guard looks funky but the trigger looks like it would be a nice squeez. But I still think I gonna buy a SBEII.

It has some new features. I'm not sure if they are more of a conveniecne or a liability.

The rear of the receiver is squared off just like an A5 and the "new" bore axis bolt and operating system, correct me if I am wrong, is only new to the Vinci. If I am correct the A5 uses a similar system but was designed in what 1898? Again I could be wrong, would not be the first time, but that is just what I saw in it.

To me as I see it they share similar features. But that is just my opinion. They are clearly not identical but again share similar features.
It's nasty-looking, but no more so than any other plastic Benelli.
Benellis get much more attractive when you hold them up and point them. Great balance and feel, IMO.
I'd probably only get one for waterfowl, if I ever tried that again. Vizslas don't sit still very well, though.

Yours is still pretty young. They stay still better sometime around 6 or 7 years old. When they get to be 11 pretty much all they do is sit still, at least until the doorbell rings.
I type this as mine is sleeping on my feet.
