I went to Gander Mountain to pickup something from the gunsmith( a Win Defender that was double feeding) and saw an M2 brand new with 5 rd magazine and pistol grip w/ shoulder stock.
It looks like the one the military is using, I could be wrong. Anyways after buying a Nova from them and being extremely satisfied I always liked the idea of a semi auto shotgun and this will be my first. Since I don't bird hunt that often anyways I liked the way it felt and looked (very solid, sturdy).
Are they reputable?
What is the receiver material?
Does this gun have a high round count life? Such as the Super Black Eagle?
I own a benelli Nova, Remington 870 Exp SupMag, a winchester 1300 Defender, and a Mossberg 590, and my experience with shotguns ends there.
The price was $1099, and I would plan to put it in layaway. Is this reasonable?
Isn't there an M3 also whats the difference? Five rds is fine but if I wanted can I extend the magazine?
I appreciate your opinions and experience!
