Here is an article on the case for gun rights, by (Reagan era drug czar) William Bennett. It has some good talking points, that might be helpful uf you plan on talking to people about gun rights' importance and relevance to current events.
 
I think all of us know some people who are not rabidly anti-gun, but maybe a bit gunshy, especially at a time like this. I suggest that we all focus our persuasive efforts on those sorts of people, and use the kind of language present in this article. It's matter of fact and not excessively preachy sounding.
 
Very encouraging- perhaps there is hope- well, a little anyway. :eek:
