After a few years of owning it, I finally tested it at the range last night. I used CCI MiniMags and am happy to report flawless performance and exceptional accuracy. I'm still miffed at getting only one magazine with the gun, but Beretta's been really been a royal pain in the a$$ about it, adding instead, a crummy lock. Seems like everyone else is selling autoloaders with two mags.

Anyway, having test fired another one years ago and having it jam every few rounds using Remington Thunderbolt ammunition, I was wary that it would work. I'm using Mili-Tec 1, BTW, and am wondering what kind of performance some of you other guys have been getting.

I also have a new Beretta 950 .25 ACP in stainless, which I still haven't fired. I've had these in blued steel over the years and they've always been very reliable. Still, I don't trust any autoloader until I've put about 200 rounds through it. But I got it mostly as a TOY...er...collector's item.

If any of you have photos of your tiny Berettas, please post them!

As much as I love stainless, I also love nickel-plated
and blued guns. Why did Beretta stop making these great little
pistols? They were popular and couldn't have been that expensive
to make.

Just sold my trusty 21-A Bobcat last month at a small loss.

High Noon pocket holster is in THR classifieds.

Why would someone sell a nice little pistol like this?

I have NEVER sold a handgun I liked and not bitterly regretted it later. In the case of these little Berettas, I'm sure that it goes back to childhood and toy guns, who knows? I don't think I would sell mine, even if ammunition suddenly became unavailable. I just like it too much.

BTW, anyone know where I can get extra mags for this thing?

My magazine appears to be blued, but I don't know if it's just blackened stainless or whether it is actually blued. I suspect it's stainless because when I tested some cold blue on it, it had no effect. (Still, I've had that cold blue for years, so who knows?)
