"Expensive Plastic" :neener:

Like others have said before, plastic on a Glock is natural. That's their specialty, their game. But plastic on a 92FS just feel odd. I heard a couple years ago that BUSA started using plastic for trigger, guide rod, lanyard loop, safety levers, etc. It just cheapens the gun(and they didn't sell them any cheaper). I hope they reverse this decision on the 90-Two. Now, that plastic wraparound interchangeable grip is a good idea. But I'd suggest them talk to Hogue, and make those grips in Hogue overmolded rubber...

Yuk! Like the PX4, that new 92 is ugly! Whats up with Beretta's styling as of lately? Their newer stuff is hideous!

Is it just me or does Berettas 9mms seem way too big for a 9mm pistol? There are So MANY other 9mms that hold as much or more ammo and do not feel nearly as chunky or huge as a 92 Beretta.

Well, I don't know how to justify the width, as there are other double stackers that're thinner, but the 92 series does have a 5" barrel. Not too many pistols these days have barrel that long...

I like the gun and will probably pick up one. I, personally, think the 92's grip is a little too small for my hands and would prefer a longer grip. My pinky rests against the top of the baseplate of the inserted magazine.

I think the newer grips are excellent and prefer plastic to rubber. Rubber tends to snag and if I'm worried about my gun slipping in weather, I'll wear gloves.

yeah, one of the classic and valid criticisms of the Beretta. I prefer the compact 92 and I doubt i'd buy any 9mm larger than a BHP. Guigaro has made a few flops over the years (delorean anyone?). It's wide because of the locking mechanism, it has these locking surfaces like the wings of a maxipad, it's worth it though, stovepipes are almost unheard of.

Whats the deal with the M9A1? I don't get it, looks like it has grips similar to the nine-oh-two but other than that whats different?

I think I'm the only one who actually likes the way this looks.

It'll look better twotone with carbon fiber though.

i love the look. i can't wait to actually pick up a real one. if the new design fits my hand, i'm getting one. but, i am worried about the lack of the G model on the website. i would definately want a G.
