Hi folks - instead of giving my gun to the rather incompetent LGS folks (I don't say that lightly) I just want to DIY and put Trijicons on my 92A1.
Anyone used the P500 UNIVERSAL SIGHT TOOL to do the sights? (Front and rear)?
Seems rather pricey with the full kit being some $250 (includes additional clamps and things) but anyway, we are talking a firearm that a person might have to depend on one day.
So, aside from the price, does anyone have an opinion on this specific tool for the 92A1? (I looked at my sights; seems like the front sight actually has some factory paint over the dovetail connections, I wonder if it will chip off when the sight is pushed out?)
Thanks.
