How can I identify an Italian Beretta 92fs from an american one?

AND, what is the best .22 conversion kit?

My 92FS Inox has "Made in Italy" on the slide!

The frames are roll stamped with the Italian proof marks, and of course the slides are marked "made in Italy!"

Yeah something the government did a while back. Every product sold in the USA has to be identified with a country of origin marking. Some where during the Eisenhower years if memory serves me correct.
