I Recently purchased a beretta 21a bobcat in .25 acp. It is a great little gun, however, i have been having a slight magazine issue. The magazine floorplate keeps wanting to work its way off the bottom of the magazine during firing. After firing a magazine i will have to tap the floorplate back into place.

Does anyone else have this problem? i was thinking of contacting beretta about the problem but figured id ask here first. Thank you for the help...

try taking a punch and pushing the retaining pin down and lining it up with the punch then when you think you have it try pushing the floor plate off with your thumb. I have the same gun in .22lr and my mag did the same thing when I first got it.

Yes, the plate is there and everything seems ok. I tried to replicate the problem at home by loadign and unloading the magazine, but no luck. It seems like it is happening under recoil. I dissasembled the magazine and put it back toegther, i will take it to the range again this weekend and see if it still occurs. If so, i will try to contact beretta about it.
