I am not even sure where to begin. A bit of a vent and a question.
I have a Beretta 391 urika 2 it took me awhile to figure out which tubes came with the gun. Now that I have figured that out. I am wanting to get some extended choke tubes for this gun and the manual says mobil choke tubes and the web site says optima plus only. Which ones will work?
I called beretta and waited as long as I could stand on hold, then called back and they are closed.
I am trying to spend my Beretta bucks from buying this gun. The Beretta store is not real clear on what works on this model. I want a gel tek pad but is it small or large and then the choke tube ordeal. I like the Victory tubes but not sure if it will work. I know I can call tomorrow and hopefully someone will pick up.

the Urika 2 webapge from Beretta states the chokes are MC....mobile choke

for extended choke tubes, I would recommend Carlson extended choke tubes. Google for their website. Other manufacturers that are recommended are Tru-lock and Briley. This has been beaten to death on other shotgun boards and most agree there isn't a difference between after-market choke tube makers. All are equal in quality and the pattern they produce. I say Carlson just because their prices are pretty good and customer service is great, from my experience. My tubes have stayed real tight in my Citori and I just picked some new tubes up for my Beretta O/U guns.

AL 391 Urika 2 : also available in Gold version with 56 cm/22 in. barrel length only. The 12 ga. receiver is designed to accept (with a Weaver base) optics and other aiming system. Chokes: MC = Mobilchoke®. OC Plus = Optimachoke® Plus. CL = Cylinder choke. Rib: S = Without rib with 66 cm/26 in barrel length only. SS = Short, stepped, with rear sight. Guncase: PPL = Polypropylene. Weight: Weights are approximate, dependent on wood density and barrel length.

site shows both mobilchoke and optima Plus. I will figure it out sooner or later.
Maybe you can use both ? Manual only talks about Mobilchoke.
I am looking at a carlson catalog now but need to spend beretta bucks with Beretta

Go to the website below, click on shotgun forums and then go to the Beretta section and ask your question or do a search in the Beretta section, I'm sure a similar question has been asked before --- these guys are very shotgun savy.

If you are going to buy a set of chokes, call the guys at Angleport. They will get you the right ones. They will sell you 5 chokes for $100.00. You won't beat that deal anywhere, and you won't get any better chokes anywhere.

I know I can call tomorrow and hopefully someone will pick up.

I wouldn't count on it. I think Beretta makes some of the best most reliable shotguns there are. I have also experienced probably the worst customer service I have ever received. I guess that their shotguns and reputation is so good that they can essentially ignore their customers. Gotta wonder how much more business they might have if they actually took the time to talk to us.
