You read the title, I need YOUR input gents!

I need to order a new holster by Sunday so I can have it in time for my upcoming range time!

You're opinion is appreciated!

I own the Safariland 6004 and use it with my Beretta 92F - it is an excellent holster, and has served me very well in two tactical rifle classes.

The BlackHawk SERPA may be more readily available and/or less expensive, depending on where you're shopping. I've also played with SERPA holsters a bit, they are very quick and smooth, but I've heard reports that sand or fine gravel can jam the locking latch mechanism of the SERPA's more easily than that of the Safariland 6004.

I'd say, if you're going to use the holster for IPSC, IDPA or 3-gun competition, get the SERPA - if the holster will see hard use rolling around in the dirt in tactical training or military use, go with the 6004.
