At the risk of looking like a COMPLETE idiot (not the first time, by the way) I'm going to ask this. Just bought a LNIB Beretta Nano last night, and was wondering what the heck is the little cup for that comes in the box? It has the Beretta logo on both sides, and is Beretta blue, like the box itself, but I can't see any purpose for it. Inquiring minds want to know......

It prevents the carrying case from being pressed in. Just like the thing in the pizza boxes.

Yes, I have also noted this on the Stoeger COugar boxes I have. Stoeger is basically a Beretta design and factory manufactured in Turkey buy Stoeger.

You're supposed to pour bullets into it at the range. Then when you load your mags, you just grab bullets out of the cup and load them. :scrutiny:

I don't know, but I took the tip from online folks, and I use it to hold screws, etc. when I'm disassembling guns.

BTW, you know that thing that keeps the pizza box from getting crushed? There's a name for it in the restaurant business: they call it "the Barbie Table."

For the download-adverse, it shows a picture removing the Nano's chassis from the frame, and the retaining pins are inside of the cup.
