I am thinking about getting the Stalker in 6.5 as a hunting and long range gun. Do any of you have any thoughts on this make and model.

I'm curious also. Another THR member purchased one of their budget rifles and was not impressed. Wood stock was utilitarian and as I recall he didn't like the feel of the rifle. I believe he sold it without ever firing it.

I like what I've read about their premium line, but never heard from someone that has one.

Have not had a chance at the premium line, but I did order a B-14 Hunter for a friend. I had to pull it out of the stock to check it out. Pillar bedded, nice trigger that adjusted down to 2 lbs, floated barrel, and the stock was pretty solid. I adjusted the trigger to a hair under 3 lbs and we took it to the range. The second 3 shot group could be covered with a dime. Not too shabby for a 7mm Mag. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor ordered as I write this.

The wood stocked guns could use a few more coats of finish. I understand that the premiums are shooting machines. Some of the best barrels on the market.
