Walt must have finally gotten tired of answering all of those e-mails! Great products. Great people.

COOL! If they have 6.5x55 load data I'll get one, but that is the only cartrage I load VLDs for at present.

I can not believe they don't already have one, it is irresponsible for them to sell bullets without letting loaders know how to load them. very inconvenient to have to call them or email them

Well, those of us who devour new loading manuals will be pleased. So will those who feel there is some magic in loading data built around each specific bullet. But, fact is, the new manual's greatest helpful effect will be to put more money in the maker's pocket --- and that's a good thing all by itself! :)

The 1st Berger Bullets Reloading Manual is finished! It includes articles on many different topics and reloading data for over 70 cartridges. Read our blog HERE for more information!

We are accepting orders now, and will begin shipping in six weeks! The first 3,000 manuals ordered will be signed by Eric Stecker, Walt Berger, Bryan Litz and Michelle Gallagher.

Taken from the Berger Bullet web site.

If there were other makers that made bullets in the same weights and designs as Berger, then the data would be generally transferable, but that isn't the case for the most part. For example, no one else makes a 50gn .204 cal bullet, much less a 55gn one. Their VLDs typically have a smaller bearing surface than a conventional design of the same weight, so the data doesn't transfer well either.

Hard to say. I'd wager that they started with the Quickload data and tested it to confirm.

Sorry to rain on your parade but they have had an online manual with there bullets for many years

I have pre-ordered one of the Berger manuals. I did pick up on the signed copies so maybe I will get one.

Whether on line or not, I like having a hard copy for reference. My computer is not at my reloading bench so a book is more convienient. Also, I can have two or three or more books open at the same time. Not as easy on the computer.

Found the list of cartridges in the new manual. Seems pretty biased towards the LR high BC stuff...not that *I* mind though.

IMHO, they could have left off the 17s, the Lazzeronis and the 30-378 Weatherby...maybe added in the 338 LM? I mean, since they make bullets for the .33 diameter and all......

Yes, Berger's main market is the longer range stuff.

I have a couple 17 Remingtons so the 17 stuff works for me. Besides, my rifles shoot the 25 varmint hp well.

I am looking forward to seeing everything in their book.
