AA#5 powder, Western Powders data lists a COAL of 1.160"
This COAL is way way too long to fit full battery in my CZ 75 Omega, I have to seat to 1.055" in order for slide to come to full battery. So I pulled the bullets and backed off the charge to the minimum (4.6 grains) and shot over the chronograph, approx 830 fps. So worked my way up to max charge (5.5 grains) a tenth of a grain at a time shooting two shots each over my chrony and closely inspecting cases for pressure signs. I'm right at 1,020 fps at max charge of 5.5 and zero pressure signs at 1.055" COAL. Is this powder just that awesome or what am I missing? have others of yo experienced this COAL with similar bullets/ powder?
