I have a Bersa 380 that shoots good groups but low. I know a lot of you have these so the questions are;
1)Does your shoot low also?
2)What if anything do you plan to do about it?
Thanks
Dan

My Bersa's sights are right on.

How low does it shoot?

I would probably have a gunsmith fix the sights for me. I've done that with other guns with good results.

I just recently purchased one. I've had a few range sessions with it. First I'd say check your sights they could be off. Also, have some one else shoot it. If it shoots low for them, have a smith look at it. If not....well maybe more practice is needed. I bought mine for a BUG purpose, with the express intention of training with it using my off hand only. That said, I need alot more practice with it.

Hi Dan,

I have two questions:

1. Are you using factory cartridges or range reloads?
2. Finger joint or pad on the trigger? (Waitone has already hinted at this angle)

At ranges about 30 feet and beyond, the trajectory dip of weak reloads can get really pronounced. The execrable reloads I had to deal with in the past produced a dip of nearly 10 whole inches at that range.

I changed my handgrip on the advice of an instructor and my accuracy suffered: overengaging the grip and trigger led to a slightly left and low POI, unless the weak hand worked hard to prevent it.

The effect was particularly pronounced in Weaver for me, less so in Isosceles, and bugged me no end until I reverted to my natural grip.

hth somehow,

Thanks guys, you've given me things to work on. The ammo is factory. I'll pay more attention to the mechanics next time at the range and talk to a smith also.
Thanks again.
Dan
