Will the magazine from the standard 380 Thunder work in the CC? I was handling them both at the gun shop the other and will be purchasing one or the other for carry very soon. I like the CC, but like the pinky extension on the magazine of the standard...

The only reason I ask is Bersa's website says it will not, but it does snap right in.

They interchange with my two Bersa 380's, a nickel CC and a two tone regular but I have to admit I've never tried shooting them that way. It looks like the only difference is the base plate.

Would suggest you try both in your Bersa before relying upon ...which you should do anyways.

I have the Firstorm version of the Bersa Thunder 380. I picked up a Bersa mag as a second mag. Even though it does lock in, and appears visually to be the same,..it simply will not run a full mag through without fatally locking things up on round # 6,..every time. Other than that,..the gun runs perfectly with an FS mag,..but they are pricey and not easy to find.

This has been talked about at other places. Be sure to look at the top of the mags. They are cut different. I have heard some people say they have some fIl to loads with using the regular mag in the CC. You might want to do a search at Bersachat.com. I got a cc for Christmas. Have 50 rounds and look forward more as soon as it warms up some. I think you will like the Bersa

Thanks for the replies, I read a long thread over on the Bersa forum and I guess they will definitly not interchange reliably.

the CC holds one more round but they snap in place on my new guns in the store..
I can't fire them because they are new guns. When I cycle the slide they chamber, but if the Bersa forum says not to interchange them I certainly would not

this is only a guess on my part,as i do not have a bersa .380cc,..so,you should call them to make sure and do more research.

however, i have seen this:
http://www.condorsflight.com/products/index.php?cPath=115

click on the first product and read,..it says it will change it from 8 rounds to 7,..but there you go. i would also see if the pinky extension base plate from a standard model would fit your .380cc,but like i said,i have no idea.

I have a CC and a 380 Deluxe (9 round extended mag). I bought a couple of the 7 round Bersa mags for the Deluxe. I have used the CC mags in the Deluxe and the 7 round mags in the CC without any problems.
