Was in a local shop today looking at these 2. The firestorm 45 was duo tone and was like $350 and the 380 was $250. These prices seem a little high to me, Am I correct that these prices seem high or should I get one of them? I need a new pistol for CCW. What do you guys think?

The Firestorm is essentially the Thunder. I just bought a Thunder 45 for $340 plus shipping (stainless bi-tone, not nickel). With shipping included, plus transfer fee, you are getting a better deal at $350.

I would get the 45. The 380 is too big for me. I'd rather carry a P-3AT in the 380 caliber and save in size/weight. Plus the 45 seems better made than the 380.

I have limited experience with Bersas but that I have indicates they are pretty good quality for the money. That said, a decent 45 for 350 or a decent 380 for 250. I'd say pick what you want you can't go wrong either way.

I've had the .380 for a few years now, excellent gun. Extrememely reliable, never a failure of any kind. Just load it up with Golden Sabers, Gold Dots or whatever, and you're good to go.

Walther PPK clone and actually a better gun as far as reliability goes.

I found it too heavy for pocket carry though.

I carry it in my briefcase/backpack with the 9+1 mag or in my vehicle concealed sometimes in an inexpensive nylon holster, sometimes in a zippered rug with a couple extra mags.

I think I paid around $229 for the gun and have a $100 worth of mags.
