That is kinda funny on the surface but to me, it shows good character by bersaguy.
And it seems we are comparing a 380 to a 9mm. I own a Bersa Thunder 22.cal, and am not going to post what I do not know at all about a different model gun. And again, a whole lot of post from people that never owned the gun going on. Spats posted before that he would go with a Shield when comparing it to the Ruger LC9S. Although he was honest enough to say it did not own a Ruger. I will give him credit for that. However as I said, I have not owned the Bersa and it would be totally disingenuous to give a opinion on a gun you know nothing about. By the way, as I mentioned, I owned a Shield and bought the LC9s. And would do so again. And let me emphasize that both are excellent firearms.
A guy comes in from a different planet. Goes up to the Pepsi, Coke taste test. Picks Pepsi without trying the Coke and gets on the internet and tell's everyone that Pepsi is the best. Sorry if I disagree with so many posters.
Just because one doesn't "own" a particular gun doesn't mean that he "knows nothing" about it. The reality is that many of us (myself included) will never be able to afford every gun that sparks interest. There are probably a half dozen firearms that I'll likely never own just because they felt so awful in my hand at the gun show. That doesn't mean my opinion of them is disingenuous. Limited in value, maybe, but not disingenuous. I've never owned a Bersa, either.. . . . And again, a whole lot of post from people that never owned the gun going on. It happens, but many times we cannot find a certain gun to try in advance, so we take our chances. You may find out you hate both. .
If I wanted to compare a large 380 or similar size, I would do just that compare.
And it seems the internet is famous for this.
That's you.
I'd think that if the person that started this thread wanted to, he would have.
The Internet is also famous for replies that, instead of answering the question, post replies that basically say that the person asking the question isn't knowledgeable enough to ask the right question.

Lol, how do you know what he thinks?
Maybe explainingg why you think one is better than the other would help the OP.
Certainly did not see much help in your post.
Never claimed I did.
Possibly.... I think others did ok, though. For me, I think the Shield is a better softer shooting gun than the Bersa and the PPK/s I've shot but not owned either.
Does that meet your standards?
Got a point to make or just want to critize the question and answers?
Always carry. My EDC since I got my CCL is my Shield. It is accurate, utterly reliable, with lots of aftermarket upgrades.
