I will be picking one of these up on Monday and am trying to find an affordable ankle holster for it. I emailed Galco about their COP series, but have not received a response as of yet. Any ideas? Links would be appreciated.

I have the "Cop Ankle Band" made by Galco. I use it to carry my NAA .380 at times. Of course I am not familiar with the one for the Bersa, but I can tell you that the Quality of this Holster is top notch.

I know Galco are well popular but gotta say my ''Ankle Pocket'' has pleased me so far - even tho I do not use it much .... it is an ''extra option'' .. and useful for a BUG. Here is my Bersa in it .. probably the upper limit re capacity and obviously needs generous pants legs.

Also maybe go read my write up on the rig ..... just one guy's impressions.

why would you carry it in a ankle holster.you could never draw that gun fast enough from a ankle holster to defend yourself.if it is for a back up i still would not use it.i carry a full size 45 5" all day in a inside the pants holster.also sometimes in a strong side kramer.please i am not trying to make fun of you i dont want to see the bad guy win ever.

Magnum ... quite simply, there are times (rare for me fortunately) when all my usual concealment methods fail ...... could be extreme light clothing in summer (a smart carry can help there) and maybe something like ''formal dress'' .... where jacket may have to be shed.

I sweat .. badly - even when others do not .. so I cannot handle extra layers like some. So - when I have no other choices left .... it becomes the maxim of .... ''better some gun - than no gun''.

OK draw may be compromized but .. again .... it is there, instead of zilch. That's all. Not ever my prime choice - never will be - but if needed that one cuts it.

I carry what I want to carry.

But if you must know, I carry a Glock 21 with three standard capacity magazines (for a total of 40 rounds) everywhere I go. This would indeed be a backup gun and would go on my ankle since my belt is pretty full most of the time. It would share duties with a Smith & Wesson 642.

And yes, it would be a backup gun, but if I want to carry it as a primary, I can and will.

I think they are cut off in the picture. The one I am buying has normal sights.
