I until yesterday had my entire collection down to only 5 or 6 shot revolvers and single stack 9's and 45's. I had several hi-cap pistols when I first started collecting and slowly moved away from them for CC reasons like weight and thickness for carry.
I even still had a TRL-1 weapon light laying around with no place to shine. So I decided to get one more hi-cap 9 or 40 with a tac rail for a place to hang my light and to play night stand duty alternating with my 686 4''.

I thought to stay fairly inexpensive but have decent quality, and had a few ideas like Ruger SR9 or the Bersa UC9 or HC9 or 40, used glock whatever, but for around $400 in this department you have quite a few decent choices. So I cruised the gun and pawn shops looking for the deal of the day and I found for $290 this Bersa HC Thunder 9 Pro that looked to have factory grease still comming out after my first 100 rounds. So I am guessing it was barely used, although it did not come with the box and paperwork.

I have had two Bersa's before, a UC9 and a 380 CC. They both were flawless guns in operation and were only traded for something nicer or easier to CC. So with my experience with them I was fairly confident that it would be a reliable pistol and it fit my hi-cap and tac rail needs:D.

I also lucked out and found a holster that some one had and it was obviously for this pistol or the used HC 40 in nickel that was laying next to my 9. So for $295 I got the pistol and this clip IWB thin leather holster.

Here is some picks, what ya think?

Bersa is a good firearm and you got a decent deal even by US standards. Here a Bersa 9 runs up near $800. Then again, a SIG P239 will set you back $1150...

I just bought my Bersa Thunder UC Pro for $299 and love it. very solid and well built pistol. just wish i could find a paddle holster for it.

Bersa is a good gun. I have the 380 and never had a problem, I have a friend who has the 45 and loves it.

Molleman, I use a belt holster made specifically for a Glock 19 and it fits my UC9 Pro perfectly. Just thought I'd mention that if it helps any.

My UC9 is one of my most trusted handguns. Though they might be on the "thick" side, they are unbelievably stout.

I forgot how much I liked the controls and the sights on this pistol, snag free and very visible. Although there is a decock, I always prefer a down swipe with the thumb to be off safety and ready to rock!

HAHA I want to kill myself!! do you know how much is this gun here (Argentina) $550
So in my opinion you made a very nice deal.

slyefox-read the thread.

Congrats OP!! I picked up a 380cc from a fellow HRer and love that little thing. Looks like you got a pretty good deal too. Way to go.
