Bersa Thunder Series Pro's and Con's

I get a kick of a shooter that complains about a bersa trigger pull , DA or SA. Then talk about how much they like a sigs trigger pull when its a DA/SA trigger. More than likely its several pounds heavier than the bersa. But that might be the same shooter that whines over a KT or kahr trigger too. The one p-64 I have pull on a trigger gauge went way beyond its rating of 18lb. I would bet it was 24lb pull on DA. My daughter and wife carry ether a bersa CC or a TCP380. There like night and day difference but they shoot both very well.

Should not compare trigger pulls ether if you have done a trigger spring kit in one and not the other too.

I had a Bersa Model 85, 13 + 1. It was LNIB. Jam-o-matic. I don't know if running 3-400 rds. thru it would straighten it out or if it needed some polishing on the feed ramp. Either way, I wasn't interested enough to spend the money so, I sold it for $200.00. It financed 2 Powder River triggers for my Xd 45's.

Model 85 is double stack whereas Thunder is single stack. Just thinking this may account... No, nevermind. Those other jam-a-matic 1911s are single stack too.

The "paint" don't last long is something I hear. Is that a common issue others have noted?
