I love my bersa and feel it is a very competent weapon. The only knock I have about it is the lack of durability of the finish on the weapon. It seemed to wear off very easily, but I shoot my weapons instead of looking at them....so no big deal to me.

Well since mine is the no longer produced Stainless, I don't have any problem with the finish wearing but still accurate and reliable. Carry the 45 UC SS every day in a UBG IWB Striker I Holster.

You'll find a lot of exulting praise when it comes to 9mm, 40S&W and .45acp Bersa Thunders.

Due in part to all this praise, I purchased a UC9 Pro a couple months ago and couldn't be happier. I still can't understand why it only cost me $325 NIB with lifetime warranty.
I posted a thread here about my experiences with the UC9. I would think the .45acp would be every bit as well made/accurate/reliable as my UC9 has proven to be so far.

I luv my Bersa CC in .380 but I do hope to replace it as my main carry gun soon. That is when I am able to get the new Bersa CC in 9mm. :D

Good solid guns and a lot of bang for the buck. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My first carry gun after Kansas got CC was a Bersa UC .45. I still can't remember what stupid reason I rationalized for getting rid of it, but certainly wish I had it back!

Right out of the box I was able to group under 2" at 25 yards with it and it ate anything I fed it. In about 1500 rounds down-range using everything from hardball to some pretty radical hollow points, I never had a failure to feed, failure to fire or failure to extract with it. I deliberately tried "limp wristing" it to see if I could induce a stovepipe or other malfunction. Nope - it functioned flawlessly. The only problem I had was trying to find a decent carry holster for it. Wound up manufacturing one myself out of Kydex.

Again, I wish I had it back!

I have 2-380's and a 9mm HC Thunder and they are very good guns and accurate as they come. You can't go wrong with any of the Bersa series.

I'll tell you why it costs under $400. Unless I'm mistaken, Bersa's factory is non-union. And Argentina's currency is seriously inflated. Hence, the price is low relative to the price of an American or (and especially) a European made pistol. The Bersa may be inexpensive, but it is not cheap.

I like it.....!

I have a BT .380 Duo-tone I picked up a couple of years ago...been a very nice, accurate shooting handgun.
Two weeks ago, I picked up a Thunder .45 UC Pro, in Nickel at a gunshow. Got it NIB w/ two mags for $320.00!!:neener:
It is a well made, unbelievably easy on recoil, and is a good shooter.
I honestly think Bersa is the best kept secret in the handgun world!!
Get one, you will like it!
