I love the video! Very nice, as is the Colt's Revolving Belt Pistol of Naval Caliber (aka. Colt's Model 1851 Navy Revolver)!! :D

You're right Fingers I would second that and say that is the best video I've seen on the '51 Colt, very informative.

A great video showing the evolution of the Colt revolver. 1851 Navy is one of my favorites.

Very professional and informative video. I am not a bp revolver shooter, but I can sure appreciate the lure of them.

Neat. Next time we visit the SIL in Springfield I am going to need to see the gunfight markers. We have visited that Bass Pro several times, and during the most recent trip spent most of my time in the NRA Museum.

Only saw1/4 ?my server jammed. Looked professional
good to great
'51S generallyrun good to great on the good running guns can have excellent triggers, light and crisp.
The .36 Cal are my favòrutes. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, great video.
Thanks J-Bar
Now, Springfield is on my trip list -- wanna see those markers!

Definitely one of the better videos on black powder in general indefinitely the '51. The Wild Bill gunfight story was a good touch!

What a great video! It's concise yet thorough, informative and entertaining. This fella could give lessons to most TV and movie people. Heck, I'll watch it again just for the music. The only problem is now I want to shoot my C&Bs and the range is closed for a few days.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Jeff

Awesome video. One of the best I've seen on the '51. During the video I noticed that during the evolution of Colt revolvers it skipped right over the '61. Also in the slide showing production numbers the '61 wasn't listed. Wonder why? Yeah, I don't own a '51 but I do have a '61 somewhere in Ga.

Probably just a stupid oversight on my part. I can't remember if there was a '61 in that museum collection; probably there was but I did not have a photo of one in that group, so I decided to give production figures only for those models shown. Sorry, no offense or discrimination intended!
