Best ammo for 9

Everybody has a different opinion on what's best.

If you go with a good quality jacketed hollow point, that's about as good as you can do. I'll let others argue Cor-Bon vs. Gold Dots, etc.

(I use Speer Gold Dots.)

I doubt there's enough of a difference
between the high grade defensive ammo
to worry about

Buy a selection of Speer,Winchester,
Hornady,Federal,Cor-bon etc,etc and
find the one thats most accurate out
of your pistol. It seems that most
people like 115 to 124 gr but some
favor the 147gr hollow points.

I like Rem GS. Comes in 25 instead of the typical 20. I also have used Hornady before in my USP45, but it seems to have a lot of unburned powder.

With the Remington Golden Sabers, they seem to work just fine and clean. I use them in my USP45 and USP9. 124gr +P variant in the 9mm.

I love the 124gr GoldDots.

Practice with several and let the targets tell you which one to use.

Plus, it's a good excuse to use with the wife if she complains about your ammo expenditures.
