Hey folks,

Recent discussion about .38 special ammo made me think about my 9mm Taurus PT-111? It is a gun rated for up to 124 grains (not +P). For HD, the gun is fed with 115 grains of Win white box but I am pretty sure that this is not the optimal round for that gun. Obviously, every JHP in 124 grains will be OK, bit is there a brand that stands above the others as far penetration, expansion, etc. All suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I use Rem GS 124 +p in my USP9 and 92FS. They also have the regular non +p. They give you 25 in a box instead of the typical 20.

my 229

is stocked with 124gr Speer Gold Dots... well, it used to be my 229, untill my GF adopted it... thats ok with me though, I still got my USP45:D

i shoot gold dots in my 357sig for target ammo because i have alot of boxes of it, only problem ive had are light primer strikes. I dont know if its the sig that causes this, but always the second strike clears it
