So ive gone thru a few broadheads this season so ill have to restock. What is everyones thoughts? I'm shooting bloodrunner (don't remember who makes them) 2 blade mechanical 100gr from a Parker wildfire 60# draw and beaman ics bowhunter400 I was thinking about switching to the G5 3blade or 3blade rage. Another possibility would be fixed blade but I'd like a 1 piece design.

Based on 25 whitetail bowkills, 17 of which were with mechanical heads, I really like Slick Trick fixed broadheads.

I've shot Montec G5's on Beman ICS Hunters off a 70# Bear Charge for a few seasons now and really like them. I have a set of 3-blade Rage broadheads, but I've yet to open the package - no need.

I'm using Magnus Snuffer SS heads. They're the same as the G5 Montec but they have a great warranty. Break one for any reason and they'll sent you a new one free. They sharpen good and fly great. Last deer I shot with one ran maybe 50 yards at most and dropped within sight and left a good blood trail too.

I'm shooting NAP Thunderheads and really like them. I also like the G5 Stryker heads. Neither one is a single piece head, but they're both good. I have a pack of Rage three blades which has yet to be opened, though I may pull the practice head just to see how it flies compared to my others.

love slick trick standard and mag. If looking at g5, then the stryker would be my choice. I haven't had a shot at a deer yet with them though, so no personal experience but they seem very solid, fly well in my bow, and are extremely sharp.

I've yet to have a properly hit deer get away from a $5 Thunderhead.
And they fly really well from a properly tuned bow.

I've had mechanical fail to open swiched back to a 3 blade fixed I've made up my mind I will never shoot another animal with a mechanical broadhead my blade of choice is a 100 grain muzzy.
You put them in the boiler room and they will get it done.

Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade has yet to let me down. Last harvest was quartering away at 15 yards, entered top of left lung and complete arrow pass thru on opposite shoulder. Took me longer to get down out of the tree than it did to find my BFD ( Big Fat Doe)

I am liking the Rage Hypodermic and before that the titaniums. The new shock collar system is great. Haven't had one open in flight nor has one failed to open up for me in the 100s of times I have shot them.
For fixed blades my Muzzys are great but going forty the Magnus Buzzcuts as we'll.

I used thunderheads for over 20 years. Problem i have with them is when i switched to a crossbow they just didnt fly well. I switched to a rage open on impact. They fly better, are more accurate and ive yet to have one not open or fail in any way.

Rage 40KE and Swhacker are my broad heads. Tough, fieldpoint accurate, and very sharp. Not a fan of the 3 blade Rage. The blades can interfere with each other on deployment causing them to not expand. For fixed blades, Muzzy or Slick Trick.
