The bad... The USP did not so good... 9rd group was about 5" at 10yds:uhoh: But I think I just need some practis... I havent shot an auto in about 8months other then a P22. However, I love the way it feels!!! Im sure It will improve

The UGLY.... The g26 shot a 2" 12rd group at 10yds:D about 6 of 12 were no bigger than a quarter!!! and only 2 flyers that were 1" out in each direction!!! I am truely impressed!!! and it holds 12 with the pierce extension mag, and I also have a G17 mag with adaptor for the G26!!!!

Nice... I'm looking for a .45 and that HK is one of them. Anything you don't like about it?

And, if you live in the U.S. (not obvious from the "cleared" thing), you've just had an ATF form 3310.4, "Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers" filled out on your behalf.

Congratulations!

I've only managed it twice in my entire life.

well... I got cleared... Washington there is a local police background check befor you can pick up a pistol (It takes 3-7 days) , unless you have your "CPL" then you can just pick it up after they make a phone call, and I dident have my licence yet.

Here- HKUSP compact 45 Mini Review....

This is done IMHO and keep in mind this is my 1st 45acp, my 1st set of night sights.

Likes:

For being on the heavy side, It IMO is Very well ballanced!

Stippling on the side is very nice not to rough just right!

Easy take down- same as my baby eagle.

I have BIG hands I wear a XL glove. The HK fits Just right! half inch shorter It would be a no-go with the extended floorplate.

My 110lb girlfriend shot it , as well as my friend that is 140lbs both liked it!

Love all the safety features... Loaded chamber indicator, Decocker / Thumb safety

After a day of shooting... My HK group looks more like 3" at 10yds. Here is my thoughts.... The g26 was a sharpshooter right out of the box... but As hard as I tryed the groups stayed at 2-2.5" @ 10yds, The HK started at 5" and as I got used to it it worked its way down to 2" @ 10yds
Its easyer to shoot the glock w/o practis.... More Accuracy with the HK w/ Practis... (mind you the barrels on these pistols are short!)

Its recoil is WAY lower then I was expecting, This is my 1st .45 and I think it kicks less then my 3 .40sw's.

DisLikes:

I dont like the Stippling/ checkering on the back strap. I may take a file/ sandpaper to it to make the tops "pyramids" flat. After shooting about 30rds my had had an imprint in it. just think of a meat tenderizer...

The front sight.... (trijicon night sights)
I painted the front sight with some flat white model paint just around the vial careful not to cover the tritnium and I did a round dot, to leave edges of black for contrast.

I plan on changing the Hammer out for one with a spur. I think its unsafe to cock the hammer being spurred because you must use the trigger to get it started...

Big for CCW... NOT too big, just big
I would not consider it a compact, its more like a semi-compact... I still will carry both the HK and G26. (I'm 200lb - 6'4")

I honestly think the only way I would sell it is if someone offered me the same thing in stainless.

Additional stuff:

All in all... I am Very happy with it. I plan on changeing it to my likeing, (hammer and rear stippling) but when Im dont It will be Awesome!!!

Oh yeah.... 1 more thing... I have a galco IWB holster... It SUCKS with the USP!!!! It keeps it too deep, and at a funny angle! So Im looking for an inexpensive holster, I almost prefer my Bianchi Glock regular belt holster for carry...
