Actually I have "the other guy's" leather holster and belt for one of my other revolvers. I use the belt for my work belt, and when it gets wet with sweat the dye leaches out into my work clothes. I don't mind it with just the belt but a leather holster doing that all over me, my shorts and my pants and stuff... thanks for the idea but I see that problem coming.

That's one of the reason I'm leery of leather holsters for this application. Gotta be able to let literally gallons and gallons of sweat run off and not mess up my skin or my light-colored work clothes.
Try a natural color, undyed, horse hide holster. Horse is thinner than, cow, much stiffer and doesn't absorb water. Plus they last forever.

No dye on my light colored pant so far with the American Pride leather. I was concerned with that issue with a less expensive holster. The day I got it outta the mail, I gave it a wet, white wash cloth test and got on dye on the cloth. I've been wearing it with lighter colored pants nearly everyday and haven't had it bleed on them, yet....Just sayin'.

My pocket holster for my 642 is an undyed, Galco horsehide.

If a Jframe .38 won't fit in your pocket, you need bigger pockets. If it won't fit in your pants, maybe you need bigger pants! It's a tiny gun!

I've carried a Ruger Stainless P90 for over 5 years, year round, in a Milt Sparks VM2HS. My clothes get wet enough to ring water out, but I take the gun out at night, and the holster is dry the next morning. As was mentioned earlier, the Horsehide don't absorb the sweat like cowhide.

Several folks have mentioned the Crossbreed Supertuck. I have on that I carry my Kimber Tactical Ultra in, and I really like it and it's my usual CC - but if you have to bend over a lot, the rear clip has a tendancy to come loose from the belt and the whole rear of the holster will try to work it's way up. At least mine does. Good luck in your decision.

I second other recommendations on pocket carry, I have an LCP that is very easy to CC. I have seen others OWB a Sig P238 that looked like it would conceal very well.

I recommend no particular brand or type of gun or holster. I would recommend only that the gun be made of a corrosion-resistant substance and your holster be OWB with a sweat shield. To conceal, invest in some tall-sized Hawaiian print (or other shirts with prints, checks or plaids) shirts that fit loosely.
