Best Hodgdon/IMR Powder for 308 & 30-06?

I don't really load .308, so don't have much to offer there, other than use published data. But a good long time favorite for 30-06 and others I load, is IMR-4350. Some of the most accurate loads I've developed over the years have been with IMR-4350.

Depends on what your rifles like.
Depends on bullet weight.
Depends on shooting application.

But seriously, I don't load .308, but I've used H4350 and H4895 both successfully in .30-06 for my '03 Springfield and in my '95 Mauser (7x57). Honestly, I like the H4895 better in both. The H4350 just has a bit too much umph for my liking.

I have had good results with IMR 3031 from short barrelled rifles, and I use IMR 4064 and 4350 with 22" and longer barrels.
