Best kits to clean your guns with?

What does everyone use or suggest for thorough cleanings of your rifles/handguns/shotguns?

I have Kleen Bore kits for basically everything I've got. I hardly ever use the cleaner that comes in the kits, but CLP instead. For my shotgun I just bought a cheap little rod with a brush at Wal-Mart. That's too unorganized, so I'll probably get a Kleen Bore kit for it if they make them for shotguns.

I understand your suppose to clean from the breach to the muzzle... but with many rifles/shotguns that I've tried cleaning it is pretty much impossible to get a straight rod to go down that way (even if you run the rod down the muzzle and then try attaching the brush -- there's usually just not enough room). Well, I ran across Otis cleaning kits, which use a flexible cable instead of a rod, and have been thinking about getting some of these.

And yeah, I have bore snakes for quick cleanings of the pistols but I'm interested in the best things to use for those times when I sit down in front of the TV with all the supplies layed out and then take way too much time cleaning my guns!

I guess I'm just too low-tech. I use a bore-snake in the proper calibre, Break Free CLP, a toothbrush, a Kleen-Bore cloth and old rags. That's about it.

For most of my guns I use an Otis system. Works very well. I have the one that does pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Some Shooters Choice bore cleaner and FP-10 and I'm good to go. I don't bother using the patches in the kit...I buy in bulk from Brownells.

The bolt guns get Dewey one piece coated rods and bore guides though.
