Best Kydex IWB holster for a Glock 26?

I have a leather Galco Walkabout IWB holster for my Glock 26, works great, comfy, no retention problems, but when I go to holster it, the mouth of the holster has a bad habit of bunching up around the trigger guard. I've seen a thread on a ND that was caused by this when someone was sitting in a vehicle and wounded himself and the seat

Needless to say, being unable to safely holster a gun or have a holster contribute to a negligent discharge is muy no bueno.


So is there anything out there that you view as the perfect IWB kydex holster for a Glock 26? Comfortable, good retention, etc.

Almost forgot - if there's anything that has a variable position clip on it to allow canting the gun at various angles (helps with concealment), that would be awesome.

Sounds like you're describing the "hybrid" holsters made by CrossBreed, KHolster, MTAC, etc.

I have three SuperTuck holsters and I order one every time I put a gun into the carry rotation.
Their double mag carrier is a new design, pretty nice also ... you don't have to put a magazine in each slot, I've used my dual mag carriers for pocket knives, multitools, flashlights, and once in a while a NAA mini revolver (fits perfectly into a 1911 magazine slot)

I've seen a few hard plastic ones with variable angle clips - are those Kydex, or is it another sort of plastic?

Raven Concealment Phantom. You can adjust ride height and cant. You can also use the same holster either IWB or OWB, if you find it too chunky for IWB.

Anther excellent choice, Garrett Industries "Silent Thunder". Very nice leather lined kydex. They are available in either IWB or OWB and cant is adjustable with both.

I agree. I, like many folks, looked at that huge contraptoin of a holster and thought "no way can that be comfortable." It is that comfortable, though. That is why so many folks buy them. I bought one from a member here who makes them

I've had it for over a year and it still works great. Tough little bugger despite my abuse. I had one issue which was completely my fault and far from the realm of normal use, and he sent me two new clips to rectify the problem free of charge even though I simply asked him how much he charged for new clips. Great guy.
