spook22 do you have a place to shoot where the small improvements in accuracy will make any difference? Unless you live out west, there are few places where you can shoot 1K yards. A lot of folks want the most accurate rifle, and spend a premium on it, when they don't have a place to shoot it to it's potential, and don't have the skills to use it to that level. I guess if you want bragging rights with your buddies, this is the way to go. You might be better served with less gun for a lot less money. I have a .50 that is capable of <1 MOA at 1,000 yards, but don't have a place to shoot it that far. It's accuracy is more than acceptable for the distances I shoot, and I paid a lot less than those top of the line, specialty rifles.
You must also look at what type of rifle you want, the most accurate will be a bench rest rifle that probably weighs in excess of 50 pounds. Or do you want a tactical rifle, that you can more easily carry around.
Exactly what do you want to do with it?
How much is your budget for this rifle?
Do you handload? Are you capable of making your own brass from other casings?
How much are you willing to spend for factory ammo? (you might find $100+ a box is expected for good ammo.)
How many rounds do you plan on shooting through the rifle per year?
Can you afford $2,000 or more on optics? (good scope + a good spotting scope)
