Hey folks. Just checking to see what online retailers are the best in terms of broadest selection and most reasonable prices on gun cleaning supplies. I'm talking everything: Brushes (both bore and surface) Bore Cleaners, Jags, Lubricants (Hoppe's, Rem-Oil, etc), Patches, Swabs (long stick type), etc.

Maybe not the best but two good places would be Midway or Brownells.
Lots of others as well.

I probably get most of my cleaning supplies from MidwayUSA and always look for sales and their free shipping offer. (Amazon, to my surprise, rarely has good prices for these items.) I cut my own cleaning patches from 100% cotton remnants from a fabric store and any worn out flannel shirt. Swabs (Q-Tips) and pipe cleaners I get the cheapest generic ones from the grocery, Hobby Lobby or a local dollar store. I'm kind of obsessive about keeping my guns cleaned and lubed but always try to keep costs down.

I try to buy local as much as I can, but when what I want is completely unavailable (which is pretty much everything these days), my go to is Brownell's. I've all but given up on Midway because their shipping prices are so high that I can usually pay the slightly higher price at Brownell's plus their lower shipping rates and come out with a lower total cost than Midway.

When I get an email that Midway is having free shipping if your cart is at least $49 I have no problem hitting that number. For starters I buy a quart bottle of Hoppes, so that’s almost half right there.
